The strong attractions of our territory are the high-altitude lakes, the great forests and the splendid Alpine peaks straddling the Bernese Alps.  The Jungfrau, the "White Lady" of the Swiss Alps straddles the boundary between the Canton of Bern and the Canton of Valais.

You can ride to the top on the famous Bernina Red Train and admire the world from above, or gaze on the long valleys with their sweeping views of meadows and craggy bluffs.
